Unemployment insurance

I've got the cure to unemployment. A cure that will not land people in minimum wage jobs but will drop a tasty high paying gig in your lap with a great salary, benefits, stock options, and working with hip Web 2.0 and Media & Entertainment companies. The bonus, you can roll into work at 10 or whenever wearing shorts and your favorite concert jersey - as long as you get your job done, who cares.

So, how does one get this gig? Get your hands on a copy of Flash, Flash Media Server and Flex (free dev editions or trials exist) and brush up on your ActionScript - AS3 perferrably. There is a serious shortage of developers who can program Flash, Flash Media Server and Flex. Social Media pt. 2 (or, only in San Francisco)

Speaking of Social Media, in perhaps a "Only in San Francisco" type situation, I've just realized that my neighbor across the street blogs on social media as well. I don't mean neighbor as in "in the same general area" - that would be someone like Craig from Craigslist - but I mean neighbor as in right smack dab across the street. Guess that's SF for you.
